Annual Run 4 Hunger

Please join us for the Annual Elk Grove Run 4 Hunger Festival, Monday, the Fourth of July, 2022. This event benefits the Elk Grove Food Bank Services and is their largest monetary fundraiser.

The event includes 5K and 10K courses that start at District 56 and includes the surrounding neighborhoods. For kids 12 and under we offer half mile and quarter mile fun runs.

The run features disposable chip timing for the 5K/10K race, age group awards, highest fundraising individual award, highest fundraising team award, race shirts for all participants, flat course and post run food and entertainment.

This event is not only for runners. This is a fun event for the whole family. We welcome families, runners pushing baby carriers, wheelchairs, etc… And dogs too!

Yes, you can bring your dog, but please put it on a leash, so that you don’t trip a fellow runner.
